DescriptionThis page was published in November 1968, penciled by Mike Sekowsky and inked by Joe Giella.This acquisition fills a significant hole in my collection as I did not previously own any silver age Green Lantern pages that were inked by the great Joe Giella. Joe was the inker when Hal Jordan first received the power ring from Abin Sur in Showcase # 22 (October 1959) and continued to ink Gil Kane's pencils on that series for years to come. You can still get a very nice Green Lantern commission from Joe here in 2014, some 55 years after his initial work on that character. I cannot say enough good things about how nice a guy he is.
