Thomas Yeates did a fantastic job in illustrating the Dark Horse adaptation of , The Return of Tarzan." His pages were full of the lush details E.R.B. included in his fantastic stories. This page features Jane, La, Tarzan, and the lost city of Opar. We get a glimpse of all in the action packed panels. I'm very proud to have this page in my collection. Hats off to Thomas Yeates for the great work!

Thanks Rob. I agree about Yeates. This was a great adaptation of the second E.R.B. novel. I'm happy to post it for all the other Burroughs, and Thomas Yeates, fans.

Wonderful page!! Hard to beat the Tarzan/La stories. You have a fantastic collection Jim! I've a nice Buscema Tarzan/La page you may enjoy.

David, Thanks so much for your kind comments. ERB is my favorite author, and his Opar stories have always fascinated me. The Return of Tarzan contained the first appearance of Opar, the savage men who reside there, and the intriguing La. Thomas Yeates did a great job adapting the novel for Dark Horse. He really made me feel as if I were walking around in Tarzan's exotic world. He really nails all the small details. I remain shocked that I was able to add this page to my small collection.I would love to see this collected in a hardcover edition.
