Nice! You get ole Web-head coming and going, as well as on top the spire of that highly detailed building! I dig the bluelines peaking through as well! Congrats and thanks for sharing!

When I originally commented I thought about making reference to the similarities between the top right panel and ASM 300; but decided to say what I said instead; but then I googled it to compare anyways and found these. http://www.bleedingcool.com/forums/marvel-comics/65646-%22-worlds-deadest-superhero%22-amazing-spider-man-700-second-print-cover.html http://www.spidermancrawlspace.com/2012/07/06/slott-teases-asm-700/ Apparently Rubenstein swiped that panel for his ASM 700 cover, more so than #300. So it's kind of like you have a cover image!

This is such an incredible page! So much McFarlane goodness. Also Rubenstein's ASM #700 cover directly takes from that top right panel. Too cool!

Seems overwhelmingly that Joe’s cover was influenced by that panel. Thanks for sharing the image.

Throw both pieces in Photoshop and they line up perfect. The only difference is the webbing in the lower left. Given that Rubinstein was inking 304, I would not be surprised if he was an unnamed inker on 303 and kept a copy of the pencils...

Jim said that Todd did all the work on this by himself. I was giving Joe the benefit of the doubt.

I sent Joe a CAF message to see if he would read this thread and comment. Maybe he will have some insight.

I loaned a guy money, to pay me back I asked him to draw a bunch of figures.I knew he swiped Todd but when I inked it I didn't look at Todd's figure but treated it as if they were pencils for me to embellish.I can't remember but I MIGHT have signed it" after McFarlaine".

I digitally colored and edited this from an original art piece of Joe Rubinstein that I own." Hope that helps!

Been meaning to leave a comment on this beauty for some time. Todd was already crushing it with these early ASM issues! Great example!
