Girl and her fox by Mara

This year during the Angoulême festival, I spent a bit of time talking with the very nice and talented Mara. She has a lot of originals with her but was unsure about which she wanted to sell.

This sketch is a redo of a piece I had inquired about but that she prefered to keep for reason of her own.

To me, this sketch is splenid. So delicate, so alive and the fox really makes the difference to this animal lover. The melancholy or sadness in her eyes...
