Description

This is a commission featuring one of my favorite actors in the role that made him famous... Bruce Campbell as Ash in the Evil Dead trilogy.
I wanted to sort of "frame" this piece by making it appear that you are looking through a hole in a Deadite at our hero. That's why there is a giant eyeball (I know Deadites' eyes are usually white, but it didn't look much like an eye without a hint of an iris and pupil, so I just drew them a little lighter.), jaw with teeth, and maggots. The skeleton Deadite with the helmet looking through the hole might be reconsidering his advancement on ol' Ash... With his chainsaw hand and both barrels of his "Boomstick" smoking, that might not be such a bad idea. "Hail to the king, baby!"
