Description

I don't think anyone escaped seeing some of these in their childhood. They were printed so poorly with thick black lines and terrible color registry that they were often unreadable and yet you tried. I don't think anyone would call the art good or even passable and most of the jokes made you ten year old brain wonder what the gum company was thinking. The gum was good and you kept coming back for more and reading more of these over and over again. I finally got one that isn't as badly cut up, stained and damaged as many of the others i have seen. This makes me want to chew gum.

I have learned that the artist of this ubiquitous children's work was also the artist in many pornographic comics in the Tijuana Bibles.
