Many, many thanks to Bill Banick for entrusting me with the current stewardship of this quite remarkable piece. It is stunning in every way. The composition is unique, the fluidity as well as detail of the figures and action by Starlin is nothing short of impressive, and the inking by Milgrom is at once lush as well as entirely suitable to this particular piece. This Starlin Captain Marvel piece was, in a great many ways, way ahead of its time and remains hugely impressive, even today.
