Description

29 years after the purchase (at Shades in London, no less!) of "Apocalyptic Raids", I finally met the man behind the aural masterpieces of Hellhammer, Celtic Frost e Triptykon: Tom G. Warrior.
After a concert? Nope, in his rehearsing room in Zurich, where I purchased one of his works of art, a mortuary mask from the Antecedent Death series, chosen by Tom for the cover to Decibel Magazine #115, May 2014.

Enamel wash, enamel, and acrylics on concrete, 1:1 on 13x13" black aluminium frame.

I'm a happy metalhead, also because I have a companion that didn't cause me grief for taking this into our home. A mortuary mask with inverted crosses on it, I mean...
