Here is art from Jughead #121(1999) published by Archie Comics. This is all the inside story art. No cover here. There are four complete stories comprising 21 pages.

The tales in this book are pretty darn funny. One has Jug and Arch trying to save an old tree that they as kids used as a swing over the local pond. But Veronica decides she wants it since it's so valuable to the guys. Will she get her way? Probably, she is Veronica Lodge after all. Another story has Jughead making his prize shish-kabobs at a picnic. His tasty delights get accidentally mixed up with Diltons fireworks. This tale turns into a real blast! The third story is an action-packed one. Jug and Arch try to evade Ethel by running frm her all through the town and countryside. The ending is great to this one. The last tale has Jug's mind transformed by riding the amusement park roller coaster over a dozen times. His brain is set on high speed. This gives him super powers that come in real handy at the parks other amusement stands. Is this cheating?

The 21 inside pages were penciled by Rex and inked by really slick inker Rich Koslowski. The four stories were written by Craig Boldman and are hilarious and many times touching. The team of Boldman, Lindsey, and Koslowski worked many years on Jughead, producing really fine-tuned tales of Riverdale's most wacky character.

The art is clean and bright. The inside pages are in excellent condition--clean and slightly off-white with mild edge wear. The ink is dark and all paste-up titles are firmly attached with some slightly yellowed. Most are original and some are restored. The printed comic is in very fine condition with mildly off-white pages and in a comic bag with backing board. The original inside splash pages and some miscellaneous pages, plus the comic, are signed by Rex Lindsey.

Rex Lindsey has worked for Archie Comics for some twenty years. He's drawn many of the titles, but mostly Jughead for which he did over one hundred issues, covers and inside stories. He's lately been drawing for Simpsons Comics.
