DescriptionOnce, at a Minneapolis comic show, I had to perform for a sketch from the mightly pen of Gene! He got on his knees and drew Groo on my then lavish tummy, and then I had to stand proudly on a chair, shirt pulled high like a male halter-top gone bad, and read from a Groo comic while pushing on the side of my tum-tum, making Groo's mouth move. No photographers were present (thank goodness) -- so, you'll have to settle for my version of what could be an urban legend!Social/Sharing |
