Custer and Friends (4 acrylic paintings) by Val Mayerik

Val Mayerik was the regular artist for Man-Thing in the 1970s, and co-created Howard the Duck with Steve Gerber. He's a commercial artist, now, and keen on the American West. He's drawing an historically accurate portrayal of the Battle of Little Big Horn authored by Jim Berry, which was funded through Kickstarter. It is called "Of Dust and Blood" - look for it.

These 4 paintings (I posted the detail of Custer, separately) depict the principal characters: Custer, Sitting Bull, Greenhaw, and Slowhawk. Each is about 10x7.
