Description

A recent discovery for me was Vancouver based artist Brandon Graham. I am surprised I didn't find his work earlier as I really love his work. It reminds me of the work of Seth Fisher with a bit more humor and a few more inside jokes. I found Brandon online and contacted him about some artwork. It was an extremely hard choice choosing which art to buy, I liked and connected with all of it. In the end I ended up with a cover, double page splash and some panel pages along with a few prelim pieces. I think it is a good sampling of his work and from several projects including his two biggest, King City and Multiple Warheads. Both were fun reads and made more enjoyable by all the little jokes and hidden items on the page. Thank you to Robin for working with me to get these page here.

This is probably my favorite page. Chapter 16 splash. Great cityscape with the Suspition Chips store and its signage. The sell Cures, Means and Ends. I think the funniest part is the character thinking about hummus and then the girl he was just talking with and then he has some thoughts of combining the two with a little "heh!" exclamation. There is a lot of little humor through Brandon's work.
