Description

For many years this page I reserved for Simon Williams remained empty as I searched for just the right artist to add one of my favorite Avengers. When I think of Big, Muscular Heroes one artist immediately comes to mind: Ed McGuinness! It took a few shows to catch Ed with time in his schedule to illustrate this piece. He wasn't able to finish it at the NYCC but since I work in Manhattan I was able to meet up with him at his hotel early the following morning to pick it up. Only problem was I was waiting in the wrong hotel lobby a few blocks from where he was staying. After a few text messages back and forth we were able to meet up in the right location. My walk to work that day with my sketchbook in hand had me walking on a cloud! A Perfect Addition to my Avengers Sketchbook! Thank you Ed and Mike for making this happen!
