DescriptionOkay, everyone can stop collecting right now.The grail of all grails has been found, and everything else will just pale in comparison. Iiiiiiit's ... CAPWOLF! That's right folks! CapWolf. In 1992, editor Tom DeFalco, writer Mark Gruenwald and artist Rik Levins decided to take Cap in a bold new direction. By turning him into a wolf !! Okay, I kid, but a few years back I decided to dig into back issues of Captain America, and as luck would have it, I randomly pulled out the whole CapWolf saga. And loved it! The Infinity War/Doppelganger story was in full swing, and things were just cuh-razy. I saw this cover on Mike Burkey's site a while back. I knew I wanted to buy it, but I kept putting it off and putting it off. But every time I'd visit the piece, it just charged me up and lifted my spirits. So I finally pulled the trigger. It's quirky I know, but you gotta love the two big character images and the scary spiky shield. And it's CapWolf! Enjoy! Social/Sharing |

Capwolf.... that's all I got. I think that was as far as the creators got as well.

I can't believe I didn't comment on this! Maybe because I want this cover! I enjoyed this fun storyline and Rik Levins run. This was the end of a great era of Cap and this is a great battle cover with my favorite alternate Cap: Capwolf. Love it.
