Description

Rey Carlos knocks it out of the park again.

A commission of two of my favourite characters from the books and comics of my youth. The brief was Slippery Jim and Angelina, but referencing movie posters of the 70's, James Coburn 'In Like Flint' or Clint Eastwood, 'The Gauntlet'.

I love how Carlos has (completely deliberately) presented Angelina in the T+A trope of American superheroines.

Great artist, with a wonderful sense of humour. RIP Carlos Ezquerra.

Awesome Carlos commission, so many great details and humor included here. And a new collection of The Stainless Steel Rat comes out this summer from 2000AD!

Staggering image. Harry Harrison always said Carlos drew Angelina just as he had imagined her.
