Original art done for John Morrell & CO. Hams promotional calendar (1942). 13.5"x14.25" image done in India ink and tempera painting. Calendars were a very popular means of advertising your product. This art was reproduced in two sizes. Large- mailed from Morrell and a 3/4 size for dealer imprint distribution. Art attributed to Hank Porter whose character styling was influenced by the previous artwork of Tom Wood and Freddie Moore.
