DescriptionPicked this up at SDCC 2014 from Adam and Allison. I LOVE that old hippie hand bill/poster vibe this gives off. Adam told me he imagined something that might be seen plastered all over the the phone polls in Greenwich Village in the 60's, which I totally got. Love the art nouveau style Adam revisits in much of his work as seen here and the little details like the magic Doc Strange incantation gloves on the bottom. Just great. Adam made a beautiful color print of this which he graciously added to the deal as an artists proof.Social/Sharing |

I always love it when Adam channels a bit of his Mucha influences into his drawings. Exceptional!!!!

The thing I like about this piece is that looking at it you can envision a story that goes with it. Adam tells stories even in his standalone pieces. Of course, it looks great, too.

I think I was there when I lived in NY. That Strange guy overcharges! Sweet piece!

I am not very familiar with Hughes'body of work, but looking at this I get what the fuss is all about. Classy, sexy, well thought out, so much detail to take in. Great contrast between Clea's playful pose and Strange's dark figure in the back. Amazing!

He can certainly render and design, equally. His type is very nice. Talented guy. Are the funny bits you, or Adam? If he's funny too... Well then, life's just not fair!

Adam posted this on his Facebook page as the line art for a new print he was doing and I just happened to be the first one to contact him about buying it. Adam is indeed a funny guy. Me? Not so much.
