Description

This oil on Masonite painting by Daniel Horne was done for issue number 32 of the magazine "Monsters from the Vault", published in 2013.

Size 16" x 20"

Here, Horne pays homage to Lon Chaney, Jr. who was the only actor to ever play the Wolf Man in all the classic Universal horror films. In this interpretation, the Wolf Man is placed against the background of an autumn moon. The painting is true to the character and captures depth and texture as well as life like eyes and teeth.
