DescriptionOK here’s something for your collection, a Frazetta oil painting!!It’s 12 x 16”, 1970, an advertisement done for doubleday books, many of which Frank illustrated. It comes with the original brochure which I’ve attached...I made a copy of the text on canvas, and placed it on top of the white area of the painting... It’s vintage 1970, perfectly signed, very nice condition on board, and has a nice selection of classic Frazetta motifs (sic fi, girls, barbarians, alien landscapes...spaceships...a violent ocean...dinosaurs, and even a frog)! A charming and fascinating old school gem...it has more of a 50s vibe to it... Social/Sharing |

Wonderful piece, congratulations... One day I would like to own a Frazetta... In the meantime I'll just enjoy seeing stunning pieces like this.

Fascinating piece! Like another poster mentioned, I don't recall ever seeing this before. Very retro and very cool.

Never seen this one before! The upper left looks familiar, maybe reproduced in B&W by itself in a fanzine? But I think the right side and bottom portion are new to me. So much motion in this piece, as per FF's usual --- thanks for posting!
