Description

Gene Colan might not have been the first artist that comes to mind when you say, "Hey, I'd like to see that guy draw the Amazing Amazon." But he did contribute a meaningful stint on the "new look" Wonder Woman that saw her costume change to a new WW logo. So important was this moment that it was featured in a preview insert in 1982's DC Comics Presents #41, which is where this page comes from.

Here, Wonder Woman visits her Paradise Island home just in time to live up to her billing of being stronger than Hercules in an awesome Amazonian Greco-Roman wrestling match that Colan captures with tense mastery.
