Description

I illustrated this cover for IDW's MARS ATTACKS: FIRST BORN #4. It was the subscription cover for the mini series written by Chris Ryall and drawn by Sam Kieth. It pays homage to WALLY WOOD'S great EC COMICS cover from WEIRD SCIENCE #12. It features the family experiencing zero gravity while escaping the Martians in a rocket ship. My favorite part was drawing the floating cat! You just know cats would be frantic and spastic in zero G.
