Description

Al Plastino (1921 - 2013) worked on many 50s and 60s Superman and Batman stories, in the comics and newspapers, creating both Supergirl (ACTION COMICS #252, 1959) and the Legion of Super-Heroes.

Happy to have this Supergirl (recreation after her classic first appearance cover) by the Golden age great. She was originally drawn for fan Lee Laska.

Despite all the costume changes done even when I was still actively reading comics, this version is, more or less, still the one I see when I close my eyes.
