DescriptionChris Giarrusso has the remarkable ability to transform fictional characters and real people alike into pint-sized cartoon versions of themselves in a style that really channels all the fun, vibrant energy of comics. I’ve been fortunate to have Chris do a number of commissions for me over the years and I couldn’t be more thrilled with his latest piece. I asked Chris to draw my 10-year old son Charles and his stuffed toy duck Quacky in an homage to Hergé’s unforgettable cover to The Adventures of Tintin - Explorers on the Moon and the result is nothing short of fantastic. As much as I love it, the best moment for me was when Charles first saw the pencils to the piece at New York Comic-Con. A big smile filled his face and after pausing for a moment, he declared that it was the greatest drawing ever!Social/Sharing |
