Description

Nick's illustration for the article titled, "Oh, Those Movie Magazines!" by Arthur Bell from the February 1975 issue of Cosmopolitan. It's actually a pretty lengthy article that runs for 5 1/2 pages of text.

Nick explained that the overall frosted look was a happy accident. One of the portraits used a combination of media that did not play well together. The result was the frosted look. To compensate, Nick created the same effect for the rest of the art.

No "cheat sheet" necessary to identify the stars, the illo has their names.

This is just a scan from the magazine, I don't have the art. I don't even think it was ever returned to Nick.
