DescriptionThis drawing was completed way back in November 2005. Fred Hembeck remains a hero of my mis-spent, comic reading youth. No surprise, then, that he was near the top of the list of artists I wanted to commission for my Marvel Two in One theme.As will be readily apparent, I asked Fred to re-do the cover to Giant Size X-Men # 1, substituting the characters from my beloved Marvel Two in One 76 (Thing, Giant Man, Iceman, Ringmaster, Princess Python) in the place of those all-new, all-different X-Men (as made famous by Gil Kane and Dave Cockrum on their iconic cover).
