Action Comics #359 Art by Kurt Schaffenberger Supergirl

Superb 4-panel action page 3 for Action Comics #359 (DC, 1968) by Kurt Schaffenberger (pencils and inks). This pretty piece features the beautiful Supergirl in every panel as she rescues a bound coed from the cruel sorority hazing tactic of angry stinging hornets. A story that was obviously way ahead of its time, written by Golden-Age great Otto Binder, who co-created Supergirl with artist Al Plastino in Action Comics #252 (DC, 1959).
