Description

This Wally Wood illustration was given to me by Al Williamson, during one of my visits to his home. Al got this directly from Wally, and I was told it was an unused Avon prelim. I have always been very grateful to have received such a nice gift from Al which represents such good memories.

Must have been magical to visit Al at his home and see his great collection and chat about his art. He was truly a lover of the artform wasn't he.

It was a great experience, he really loved the medium and he was a huge fan of both Alex Raymond and Hal Foster, and had many great examples by both!
