Description

Alejandro Garza is one of the most gifted artists in the comic industry when it comes to rendering the female form and his interpretation of Vampirella is certainly one of the most iconic and recognizable versions out there. This pencils-only image was used for the cover of Vampirella #3 (vol. 4 - February, 2011) which was produced in colorized and sketch versions. It was Garza's first work on Vampirella, and has been copied many times by amateur artists, owing to its recognition as an enduring classic Vampi composition. This piece is definitely my favorite Garza image from all of his extensive cover artworks and I am very privileged to own it. This piece measures 11-1/4" x 17-1/4" on "Strathmore-like" white board.
