Description

This is one of my favorite covers from the new Image series. I really wanted to own it when I saw that Nick Pitarra had done the Variant Cover. I met Nick at a show a couple years ago and bought one of my Manhattan Projects pages from him directly. During the transaction we were talking and he suggested I go check out Ryan Browne's booth to read God Hates Astronauts. I had never heard of it or Browne but I found it unusual that a successful creator like Nick was that enthusiastic about someone else's independent project. At the time GHA was only self published by Browne and relatively unknown to the comic masses. I figured it must be good, so I checked it out and become a very big fan of the series and the artist. I find it apropos that years later, Nick is illustrating the 5th cover to an ongoing GHA series picked up by Image. I had to have it! Only cover that Nick has done for the series, so far!
