Description

George Barr did several tremendous covers for DAW Books back in the 1970's. This one is for Michael Shea's first book, "A Quest for Simbilis", which was set in Jack Vance's Dying Earth.

Is this from the period where he was experimneting with ball point pen? I am alwayys amazed at his art and the processes he used!
