DescriptionThis page had been up on CAF in the classifieds for quite some time and I always loved it...debating back and forth if I should spring for it; recently the price was reduced and I knew that it was time! How I waited that long (and no one else had jumped on it!) for that long I'm not sure...this page is gorgeous!Published in the September 1997 Wizard Magazine, this was Art taking on the subject of inking textures for the monthly Wizard feature 'Basic Training.' This is page 3 of 4. All the pages are awesome but this one is definitely my favorite..you've got an absolutely iconic image of The Thing, a ridiculously rendered and cool Alien, a giant lumbering, Kirbyesque monster, an ape guy and a cute girl! What more could one want?! So happy to own this beautiful page. 11" x 17" on official Image comic art board. Many thanks to fellow CAF'er Gerard Nadal! Social/Sharing |

Super cool piece. I love Arthur's version of Thing. And I know Alien is one of Arthur's favorite characters, so of course he would do a great job on that as well. Glad the price dropped to help you make up your mind, but if you would have asked me, I would have told you to just go for it too. Congrats on this really fun Adams piece.

Haha yeah, I think if this piece was put up now at the original price it'd be gone in a day! I'm still amazed it sat there for that long. Whew, glad I got it when I did. Thanks.
