Description

From Closing Time Part 4, Garth Ennis is winding down the series towards it's inevitable conclusion. This was the "other" Garth Ennis series at the time, that wasn't Preacher. So while others are chasing Preacher pages, I'm pretty happy to sit back and pick up Hitman pages as they turn up. It had a lot of the same themes that Ennis touches on in his stories and was set in the DC Universe. John McCrea handled the art for the series and Garry Leach came in near the end to ink his work and made it look even better. Populated with the same colorful cast of characters that one expects from Ennis, this remains one of my favorite series that he wrote.
