DescriptionBack in 1984 I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a new comic called Starforce Six Featuring the work of an unknown artist named Vic Bridges. After reading that book I knew that I would be buying up anything that guy did going forward, and I did! Vic then went on to Faze One Fazers and finally to Image Comics Freak Force.Unfortunately that was it for Vic. I had heard he stepped out of the comic business based on moral reasons and the direction the business was going in but who knows? All I know I know is that I really miss his art to the day. Hence, a conversation I had a couple months back with artist Bill Marimon who was friends with Vic back in the day. I wanted contact info for Vic if he had it which he did not. A few weeks later Bill sent me an e-mail saying he was in possession of some OA that Vic had given him years ago and asked if I was interested in seeing them. This is the second piece I bought from Bill. Classic Vic all the way with Superman's face. One can surly see the Byrne influence here. I may add some digital colors to this at some point. ah, yes. Always great to see the heroes vic-torious!
Vic did a few back-up's and pin-up's in Savage Dragon over the last decade. He and Larsen have a friendship. Eric, IIRC, even said he's pushed Vic to get back in the buisness.

That would be a joyful day! Maybe Erik can get Vic to do a Fazers revival for Image? I would settle for a Freak Force come back!
