Description

I don't remember which was the first Crusaders team-up thing I got. My instinct is to say that it was the original Shield. But whichever one it was I wasn't even intending to make it a theme. I was just a one off cool idea to me. Then it kicked in this could be a whole thing - the Crusaders as I knew them when I started reading with interesting / appropriate counterparts.

The Black Hood, as I know him, was almost as hard as the Web in terms of figuring out who should be paired with him. Took way to long to remember the Denny O'Neil Question. Once that came to mind it was right. I've long enjoyed Banks work, especially all the commissions he's done for my friend Damon Owens, and this seemed like the right thing to ask him to do. VERY happy with how this one came out. Just the right amount of rough-and-tumble in those pencils :)

Great day in the morning! I CANNOT BELIEVE I'm looking at a Darryl Banks commission in Kevin's gallery! I never dared hope....yet there it is, with one of the coolest pairings in commissioning history. The Question and the Black Hood, and Banks and Moorhead. Doesn't get any better!
