Description

In addition to doing the art for the covers of Judge Dredd: Year One, Dave also designed the logo for his covers. His process involves drawing the initial pencil version of the cover, sometimes in pieces, on tracing paper, and then transferring it to a board and inking the final version. He sent a handful of his original drawing on tracing paper, which is what this is.
