Description

Green Lantern: New Guardians (GLNG) is where I really started noticing Aaron Kuder's work. The lines echo Quitely and Darrow but he brings his own unique spin. His style works really well on books like this where he can cut loose on crazy creatures and off-world environments.

I had picked up a GLNG panel page awhile ago from his rep Paolo at Cadence Comic Art and had wanted to pick up a cover. I held off on a couple looking for one that really stood out to me...lucky for me Aaron had this in his portfolio at C2E2 2014. I knew this was the one when I saw it!

I really like the movie poster feel. You've got 7 characters all in different poses/profiles and scale. All look great but I most like the Atrocitus shot at the top with Saint Walker whizzing by. Very cool. They also released a black and white variant of this as well as used it for the volume 3 trade and hardcovers (included additional images). Make sure to check out Aaron's work!
