Description

OK, so I was up in a place called Cave Creek just outside of Phoenix and stopped into a pretty interesting store that also does pawns among other things. While I was walking around in there different rooms, there were 3 paintings hanging in the music area with this being one of them. The story on the art is that it has been being brought in by the kids of the deceased parents who used to live in Montana. They also pointed out about 30 other paintings by an Artist that is well known for Western art and so they had invested quite a bit of money into those pieces which leads me to believe they had a rather large home and had money. Now the kids are selling off everything which looking at some of the items brought in, did come from a very nice home. There is a whole 3 ring binder full of paper work on what was brought in but nobody knows who the artist is. That's where I'm hoping one of you guys might recognize the signature. I think I've seen it before but can't remember. It appears to have been painted many years ago with it being I believe oils on stretched canvas and then framed. The painting itself is 18.75X30. If anybody knows who the artist was, I would love to know because it looks to be done by someone who knew what they were doing. Thanks to anyone who attempts to identify it.
