DescriptionAn amazing full-page pinup by the legendary Dave Stevens, with an axe-wielding (guitar) hero, an electric lightning bolt demon, and a scantily-clad babe in chains of bondage! Done during the same early 1980's time period as Stevens' all-time classic work on The Rocketeer. Huge thanks to Kelvin Mao for providing info on where it appeared. According to Kelvin: "That's one of two advertising pieces Dave did that were published in Guitar Player magazine. This one was an ad for the BOSS DF-2 "Super distortion & Feedbacker" foot pedal. That's one of two advertising pieces Dave did that were published in Guitar Player magazine. This one was an ad for the BOSS DF-2 "Super distortion & Feedbacker" foot pedal. It was published in Guitar Player #180, Dec 1984.

Never saw this work by Stevens before. Fun piece - always a thrill to view work by Dave that you haven't seen before. Thanks!
