Ho Ho Ho - what have we here..

Brian Bolland's first ever Judge Dredd cover and a very self-indulgent 40th birthday present. It's a real honour to own such a piece of 2000ad history, I remember how pleased I was just to find the actual prog at a comic mart all those years ago. This prog, along with 3 others, filled in the blanks left by the Titan reprints in the Cursed Earth storyline.

This is a cover from one of those un-reprinted 'banned' episodes, which featured the Jolly Green Giant, Colonel Sanders and many other well known, and strictly copyrighted characters. Sums up perfectly the attitude of 2000ad at the time.

Update: Due to changes in UK law, the whole of the Cursed Earth saga can now to be reprinted. 'Cursed Earth Uncensored' is due to be released in Summer 2016.
