Description

This was published in 2003, but was drawn by Gil Kane just prior to his death in 2000. It was his last professional work. This past summer I spoke to Kevin Nowlan at the SDCC. He had lots of great art work with him that he was sharing and showing to fans. He even had some from this book but they were not for sale. He told me that Gil Kane started the book but could not finish it. John Buscema ended up completing the pencils. Kevin said it was an honor to ink two of his idols. This page was completely penciled by Gil Kane. I think Kevin Nowlan's inks are perfect here. There is a lot of classic Kane on this page.

I was able to buy this page from Kwan Chang. It was the last one he had. Thanks Kwan for making this possible! After speaking to Kevin it is an honor to own a page from this book.
