Kriek - Tigra Rock

Erik Kriek is a Dutch artist. One of his comic strips is called 'Gutsman'. One of the characters in this comic strip is called Tigra.

Tigra used to be a Belgium sigaret brand, which used a girl dressed up as a tiger as their logo. Angelina Saey (1933-1979), a model from Antwerp, posed as the tiger girl. In the 1950's and 1960's she became a sex symbol. In 1979 she was found by her husband in their villa in Brasschaat in a pool of blood with a noose around her neck. The autopsy showed that she was murdered. The murder was never solved ...
