Description

Through definitive provenance research and the style of the artwork overall, this significant piece of Fritz art has been proven to originate between late 1951 & 1952 because Frazetta was looking to leave Magazine Enterprises (ME) which is where he created his suspenseful "Ghost Rider" covers. The incomparable Frank Frazetta meticulously illustrated this 7-Panel "NON-DIALOGUE" romance scene as his "Try-Out" submission to gain employment at Eastern Color where he would eventually render the memorable Buck Rogers covers to "Famous Funnies". Only but a small percentage of master comic artisans have ever been capable of dramatically visualizing a tale "WITHOUT WORD BALOONS" and this specific example is proof positive that Frank Frazetta could easily convey such passion & emotion in such a flawless manner with literally no words whatsoever!!!
