Ultra Klutz and Other Tales #1 cover

Another cover to a favorite series of mine from my youth. This was a very fun series that started out as a slapstick homage to Ultraman, and developed into a book that was able to balance comedy and drama. I enjoyed this series as much as any other, and (once again) can't believe I own a key cover to a favorite run I grew up with.

Ultra Klutz and Other Tales was a small press comic that ran for 5 issues and was a precursor to the 1986 Ultra Klutz series. This #1 cover was also used as the cover to the first issue of that series- I think the print run on that (1986) first issue was around 18,000 (during the black and white boom)- so more people may be familiar with the cover as published on that run. The second version of this cover- the one from 1986- was basically lightboxed from this original version. The 5 issues of Ultra Klutz and Other Tales are fairly difficult to find and (IIRC) had print runs in the low hundreds, although some of those issues had a few different print runs.
