Description

Original preliminary painting by Robert G. Harris.
.
Although Harris painted in oils, this prelim is executed in acrylics and gouache and measures 12 x 14 inches.

I love this rare insight into Harris' painting process and rough compositing.

The final illustration was published in Ladies Home Journal, May 1960.
