DescriptionFrank Frazetta - this is a 2 sided sketchbook page with a partial inks on the back.Titled " the Wild Week " Frank did 8 sepia toned drawings for the 1963 Midwood paperback " The Wild Week and Imitation lovers" by Jason Hytes and March Hasings The drawings in pencil are really light, the images we're darkened and tweeked in photo-shop to view. I love the intial thought process. it all starts here. The partial ink on the back, when you see the paperback cover, I'm wondering if this wasn't a effort to secure the cover. It went to someone else, but the prelims are all fairly close to what the end result finally became. Artwork not signed. Social/Sharing |
