I was ready to commission Greg again when I saw this come up in the Heritage Auction- Always loved this and am thrilled to have it in my collection. HA's description: Greg Staples "Death Dealer" Painting Original Art (2006). Greg Staples is one of Frank Frazetta's biggest admirers. This is a very personal piece that Staples produced for himself in 2006. He worked in oil, not his usual acrylic, and signed in cursive, not his usual stylized signature. It is a breath-taking piece featuring Frazetta's Death Dealer character taking on an entire pack of hungry wolves and it is produced on a 20" x 24" stretched canvas. The detail and craftsmanship is astounding and it is considered one of Greg Staple's finest works. As such, it has been fantastically framed with a lovely metallic matting. The open front framing measures 23.5" x 27.5" and truly enhances the image. In Excellent condition.
