DescriptionMerry Christmas to me! I just got the scan of my new finished commission painting by the incredible and ridiculously talented Nick Runge. He recently left comics and movie poster illustration to go in a new direction and only work on personal fine art instead from now on. (A huge loss to the industry, IMHO) But because I have been a loyal fan since 2008 and also because he had a small window of time during the transition, he agreed to do one last commission just for me. :) He is such a great guy and I can't recommend him and his art highly enough. There is a reason I tell anyone who will listen that he is my favorite painter of the modern era! If you do a search on him here on CAF you will find several collectors who are quite passionate about his paintings, like me, and there is some amazing stuff to see from his past. But looking to the future and his current amazing stuff, you can find him on Facebook and Instagram to see the new amazing fine art he is doing. It will seriously blow your mind! Also check out nickrungeart.com for his online gallery that shows some of his work.Back to this piece, I pitched several options over several months and we finally settled on a Dark Knight Trilogy piece, combining my love of comics & movies and his movie illustration stuff. He did it on a very large 30"x40" piece of heavy board, so it is huge and jaw-droppingly amazing! It's my last large purchase of art for the year, the last "pop culture" based commission Nick will ever do, and I can't wait to get it framed! Thanks again Nick! Social/Sharing |

Warner Bros. should use that as the cover to the collected set of Blue Rays disks. It's amazing.

This is amazing! Can you please make it into a poster I can buy? I've been searching for a good dark knight trilogy poster for my room and I would love to have this!
