Description
Mel Hunter is primarily remembered for his many fine covers for the science fiction digest magazines from 1953 to the early 1970's, particularly for The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Galaxy and If. However, he also illustrated nature and science books. This was the cover to "Cave Life", put out by the National Audubon Society in 1969.
