Walt Simonson's Ragnarök published by IDW. This book has been a wild ride and Thor has never looked better. The first six issues have been collected in a hardcover edition. A certain percentage of those carried a hand drawn picture by Walt and were sent as incentive copies to retailers that ordered enough books.
Walt has a habit of doing things to support local comic shops, e.g., his signed and numbered copies of
Titan Book's release of Alien: The Illustrated Story (Original Art Edition).
I was able to enlist my LCS -
Bedrock City Comic Company - in obtaining one of these books. I'm thrilled.
For the 2nd collection, Kathy and I each got one at SDCC '17 at the Simonson dinner.
