This page is from the top selling comic of 2015 by John Cassaday. Already renowned for his artistry and design, relaunching Star Wars was definitely a highlight in his highly acclaimed career. The passion for this project shows as Cassaday definitely did his research to study the technological world in which these characters inhabit along with what must have been many photo references to get these characters right in two dimensions. All the while designing the page with space to breathe as the big introduction and action unfolds. This page has Luke, Leia, and Han together on the printed story page for the first time under the new Disney/Marvel umbrella/canon. Don't forget Artoo for that extra nostalgic kick.

The Force Awakens is the movie that we wanted all along to continue and expand the Star Wars universe. 2015 is definitely a year to remember for Star Wars fans.

This is a super Cassaday page and has everything you could want. His work on Star Wars was really, really good.

Beautiful page from the great Marvel-SW-comic-restart after 20 years and the also nice Dark Horse years ! John was the perfet artist for the first story arc along with Jason Aarons great writing ! Huge congrats fror this great example with 4 classic heroes and a hard punching Leia :)
